Kentucky State University is a publicly supported land-grant institution offering degree programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.  At the undergraduate level, the university focuses on the needs of the student body, and has the lowest student-faculty ratio in the state system.  At the master’s degree level, it emphasizes public administration to meet the needs of state government.  KSU is a major repository for the collection of books, records and artifacts relative to its history in educating African American citizens of the commonwealth.

HEALTH-RELATED ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
